Easy Breezy Kitchen tips!
This is just one little tip from my kitchen to yours: whenever I come home from the store I always separate my meats into meals and always freeze them in a marinade so it's always ready for any meal. The homemade marinade I make is not strong and its perfect to season any type of meat (pork, chicken, beef, ground beef and ground turkey) here is my recipe:
HOMEMADE MARINADE:
( this makes a large portion to season for an entire shopping trip)
1/2-cup of Any citrus juice of your choice (orange, lime or lemon)
1-cup of vinegar (the acidity from the vinegar kills bacteria and makes your meat tender)
1/2- cup of soy sauce
1/2-tsp of garlic powder
1/2-tsp of cumin
1/2-tsp of salt
1/2-tsp of pepper
1- packet of sazon ( which can be found at walmart in the hispanic section, if you dont have it use paprika its just to give a little color)
1/2-tsp of onion power
1/2-tsp of season all
This makes a pretty large amount but it can season anything you like ( i bought today 1.5lbs of beef for stew, 1 tray with 12 drumsticks, 1 tray of 10 boneless chicken breast, 1 tray with 6 thin pork chops)
Hope you guys enjoy any questions just let me know :)
